Inclusive Boards is excited to once again be working with 38 Degrees in the search for new Board members.
38 Degrees is one of the UK’s largest campaigning organisations. They bring together millions of UK citizens around a set of shared values: to defend fairness, protect rights and freedoms, promote peace, preserve the planet and deepen democracy. 38 Degrees combines digital communications with political strategy and good old-fashioned grassroots organising.
38 Degrees aims big, and wins more than most – there are forests you can walk in, hospitals you can get treated in, and pubs, libraries and museums you can still enjoy thanks to 38 Degrees campaigns. They have closed tax loopholes worth hundreds of millions of pounds, stopped cuts to welfare payments for thousands of disabled people, and enabled tens of thousands of their members to switch to cheaper, greener gas and electricity suppliers.
We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Experience of enabling innovation and organisational growth
- Experience of working within consumer-oriented, entrepreneurial environments
- Experience of using technology to drive social change or bring people together
A track record of making change happen, whether through business, government, communications, or campaigning would also be ideal.
