The Activate Learning Corporation Board is comprised of highly skilled and experienced governors from a wide range of professional and personal backgrounds. Their Governors show exceptional commitment to Activate Learning’s vision to transform lives through learning and devote time and experience to providing strategic oversight and governance to the group’s senior leadership team.
Activate learning are seeking two high calibre individuals who can demonstrate a personal commitment to the vision and values of Activate Learning, as well as experience of senior and strategic leadership in relevant fields and sectors to join their Corporation Board. The Corporation Board operates a Carver model of governance, and therefore the ability to understand a large and complex business and operate at a highly strategic level is essential.
As a member of the Corporation Board, you will have the opportunity to provide strategic leadership to a well-respected organisation which makes a tangible difference to the lives of many people.
Activate Learning regularly assesses the skills and experience of the Corporation Board, and actively seek new Governors who possess specific and relevant skills and experience, to ensure that the Board has a robust mix of expertise.
At present, they are seeking Governors with skills and strategic leadership experience in any ONE of the following areas:
- Digital and technology
- HR and culture
- Property and estates
- Audit and Risk
