Heritage Care Group Seeks Board Members 947 views

Inclusive Boards is working with the Heritage Care Group in the search for new board members.

Best practice, innovation and responsiveness are central to the philosophy which has helped the Heritage Care Group (a national provider for older people, people with learning disabilities and those with mental health support needs) to gain a reputation for providing first class care and support services to a growing number of communities. Currently their group workforce of c1,500 supports over 1,000 people across England, in their own homes and in registered care services.  With a combined turnover of £39M, the Heritage Care Group consists of Heritage Care and its housing subsidiary, Amber Housing.

Heritage Care has an experienced and accomplished Board but would like to attract new members with a dynamic, innovative approach to take us forward into 2020 and beyond to help us achieve our strategic aim.

They are looking for individuals who are willing to challenge and be advocates for our services, who both embody and share our values: People that always behave with integrity and that seek to inspire everyone they come in contact with. People that respect diversity and value inclusiveness. People that constantly innovate to meet the needs of those we serve and impact lives in a positive way.

As a volunteer, you will play a vital role in making sure that our charity has the best interests of the individuals we support.  We ask that you make an annual commitment to attend a minimum of four Board meetings (usually held in the London area) plus ad-hoc meetings and visits to our support services.

They currently have vacancies on the Heritage Care Board for Trustees with the following skills/experience:

  • Clinical Governance
  • IT/Digital
  • Mergers/Acquisitions
  • Local Authority/NHS Commissioning

The term is for 3 years renewable.  Please note that you will need an enhanced DBS for this post.
