Crohn's & Colitis UK

Hatfield

Job ID-80

Deadline for applications: 16th July 2022

Deadline for applications: Sunday 17th July

Inclusive Boards are delighted to be supporting Crohn's & Colitis UK in their search for a new Trustee.

Every day, people are diagnosed with Crohn's or Colitis, the two main forms of inflammatory bowel disease. You could be any age, rich or poor, of any faith or none, of any ethnicity, sexuality, or gender. You could be anyone walking down any UK street. Whoever you are, a diagnosis of Crohn's or Colitis will be life changing. Since 1979, Crohn's & Colitis UK has been here for everyone affected by Crohn's and Colitis. Because of the stigma and misunderstanding surrounding these diseases, thousands of people are suffering in silence. But they're not alone. We're here for them. We’re working to give people the hope and confidence to live their lives as they would wish to.

Our Trustees bring a wide range of skills and experiences. We welcome applications from anyone who can meet the responsibilities of the role, but having undertaken a skills audit of the current Board, we would particularly welcome applications from individuals with one or more of the following experiences:

  • Trustee of a mid to large scale charity
  • Marketing/communications/campaigning strategies and implementation (including use of digital)
  • Fundraising strategy and implementation.
